Internships Malta is offering you the opportunity to attend a group leader internship, which will help you to practice your customer service and child-care skills, whilst attending varied and enjoyable activities all over the island. This is the ideal internship for university students attending child-care or pedagogy courses. This role is available throughout the summer months, with a minimum stay of 2 months.
Responsibilities
- Basic administrative duties related to the welfare and organization of groups
- Supervising and communicating with minors on cultural and leisure activities in order to ensure safety and fun
- Preparing venues for activities and ensuring that relevant props and stocks are present at all times
- Responding to minor emergencies and answering emergency phone calls
Requirements
- Candidates must be a minimum of B2 level English, fluency in additional languages will be considered an asset
- Group Leaders must have a positive can-do attitude, with a strong team ethic and leadership skills
- As this role is directly related to our junior clients, previous experience working with minors is required
- Previous experience or education in event management or child-care will be considered an asset
